“Stuck”, a 40x40 acrylic painting that I completed in the summer of 2022 during a time of deep anxiety. It represents my search for peace and freedom, while also reflecting the feeling of being caught between where I am and where I want to be. The sky is inspired by a photo I took in Phoenix, and the tiny skyline pays tribute to Kansas City. It’s almost a self-portrait, but more a reflection of the journey within. This piece is one of my favorites and serves as a reminder that no matter how tight life’s grip is, there’s always a way to break free.
